3. Can I use a home equity loan as part of my 25% equity investment for a Marketing Investment dealership?
No. The 25% equity investment has to be unencumbered. Please contact us for more options.

Chrysler determines the dealership location and interviews potential candidates who meet the Marketing Investment Program requirements.

5. What type of training does Chrysler provide a new dealer?
We offer various training via the Chrysler Academy, NADA, New Dealer Orientation, etc.

6. What help will I continue to receive after I open my dealership?
The Network Diversity and Dealer Development staff will maintain contact with you. In addition, you’ll receive various manuals that will assist you with our policy and procedures, access to DealerCONNECT, which is an Internet Portal to various dealership operations resources. Various Field Managers will visit your dealership periodically to consult with you and your managers throughout the year.

8. If I work for a Chrysler dealer can I still apply to the Chrysler Network Diversity and Dealer Development program?
Yes. We will provide you with a general overview of the program. However, we will not accept you into the Program until we get a letter from the Dealer or General Manager authorizing Chrysler to accept you into the Program.

9. How do I get on the list to be considered for a Marketing Investment dealership?
There is no ranking list, but we do maintain a database of qualified dealers and general managers. Please refer to the Contact Us link and call our office for more information.

12. Does the Chrysler Minority Dealers have an association to help each other?
Yes. It’s called the Chrysler Minority Dealers Association (CMDA). The CMDA has been around since 1968. In addition to CMDA, there is the National Association of Minority Automobile Dealers (NAMAD). Refer to our External Links section for their website addresses.
